My updated regimen for damaged hair

Good morning loves and happy Friday,

Hope the week was kind to you… ad you were able to do all what you set to do. So in response to some requests that I got to share with you my steps that I am using to recover from my heat damage, I am sharing my hair regimen today. If you have no idea about what damage I am talking about, here is the post you missed. Make sure you subscribe to my blog and follow my social media that I have linked at the top of this page.

In to the post…

When you first discover that your hair is damaged, of course you panic and then the disappointment and tears follow. I will not lie that I haven’t wanted to cut my hair and start all over again more than once….i am currently still toying around with the idea of having one shaved side… while we still debate, here is what my new regimen looks like…

Every week (for the first month)

  • Onion treat and oil prepoo
  • Wash and deep condition hair in twists
  • Massage scalp with oil infusion
  • Re-do chunky twists or flat twists or prepare hair for wigging
Basic wash day haircare trio

Every other week (after first month)

    • Onion treat and infused oil prepoo
    • Wash and deep condition hair in twists
    • Massage scalp with oil infusion
    • Repair or install mini twists

    Once in a month

    • Protein treatment on hair
    • DIY hair masque
    • Install a long term protective style

      Long term protective style

Hopefully with this kind of TLC I can nurse my hair back to health. Have you ever dealt with heat damage? How did you do it?

      Love and love,

      Nyake
