Happy Friday loves,
As a follow up to last week’s post… I thought I would share with you some of the great products that I have used and have helped me with my heat recovery journey so far…
When your hair gets damaged, especially by heat it’s texture feels different. In my quest to recover my hair I decided to reduce my product exposure to a simple manageable number and watch how my hair will react to them. I picked products from my stash with very impressive ingredient lists and those that gravitated towards natural and organic ingredients.

Another priority was products that were formulated to deal with some type of damage in hair and to promote growth.
Since my hair care process is a four step process right from wash day, that is the order I shall follow. I talked about these steps in depth here, here and here. So this are my picks for this recovery journey.
-
Shampoo
I have two Sulphate-free shampoos for this process and that is the Shea Moisture Manuka and Mafura sulfate free shampoo and the Saru clay shampoo

-
Conditioners
In this category I have just one… The Shea Moisture Manuka and Mafura oil conditioner.

-
Deep conditioners
I have two picks in this step… The Shea Moisture Manuka and Mafura deep treatment masque and the Eden jojoba and Monoi deep treatment masque

-
Leave in conditioners
Currently reaching out for my Shea Moisture Jamaican black castor oil leave in alot, and using that with Marini good bye tangles leave in conditioner.

-
Other good stuff
Been using my oil infusion for scalp massages alot more and using my shampoo brush from Miniso too. Massaging JBCO on my edges is also slowly making a come back.
What products have you been reaching out for of late?
Love and love
