So as I mentioned in an earlier post, I love to pamper myself. I do it more frequently now because my body has been and still is under so much pressure to perform such strenuous tasks (i.e project things). One would think that pampering has to be so expensive but contrary to most opinions, it doesn’t have to. This post is just about to show you how I achieve my pampering sessions at home by myself and in an inexpensive way.
Happy Sunday, the day we all get to prepare for a busy week ahead. Hope you have been great as I have. Today I thought I’d share with you a few of the things I have been loving of late and have been giving me life. I compiled both habits and products.
I shared with you my hair regimen a while back and I’m thinking the next question is how do you then personalize your hair journey and regimen? When I started out on this journey the biggest favour I did for myself was to keep my eyes open and of course my brain. I read all that I could read and sifted through loads of information. I still read a lot much more than I did then. I found some five “mantras” that really helped me get a foothold of this journey and I shall share with you
I have been natural all my life really but I just began minding my hair about one year five months ago. Its been quite an experience and an interesting.
One of the major things / tasks you embark on is to then come up with a regimen that will make it easy for you to cope with the seemingly new lifestyle. I shall share with you mine and hopefully it will help.
What is the hardest question you have had to answer in a while? Probably a proposal. My hardest question is usually what to eat. For some reason I don’t like to think about it much. Maybe it is the school work I don’t know. So I decided to put up a few suggestions of what my breakfasts looks like on a mostly every day basis.
This post will be really brief as I just popped in to say hello and also to share a little of an outfit and mainly hair up-do. (between me and you, I’m not a style guru, I’m more of a wake up and wear the easiest outfit to put on person)
Saying that I have missed being here is an understatement. Really wanted to be around, but I have been so busy here there and everywhere. Let’s just say, life happened but I am back and hopefully to share all that my journey has taught me. How have you been?
So are you are new natural or as confused as I was when I began my journey? (Let’s not even mention lusting after long tresses from other natural hair gurus). Are you planning to walk into the shop to begin your purchases? Well, I have a couple of ideas for you… especially if you are in Kenya.
One of the hardest things to do on social media is being absolutely honest. There is this pressure in social media in general to look like you have all your act together. It’s kind of an addictive habit, but once in a while… the world caves in for us and it’s healthy to admit that we have trouble trying to achieve what we have put our minds to. It’s a healthy part of your life.
