Vulnerability… #2016

Hey people,

So this past weeks have been full of ups and downs and a lot of running up and down as well. I know I always sound like my life is full of hive and activities (which is true) and sometimes those activities threaten to give you a burn out!and boy don’t we hate burn outs, they have a way of draining you to the last of the energy you have in store. I have a love hate relationship with the mirror. As a matter of fact, before my Natural Hair Journey, I never really used a mirror in my life. Mirrors to me were (kinda are) those annoying things that just had to remind you that you had a million and one spots on your face and would quickly reduce your self confidence level to -66%. So I generally avoided them. I never even looked at my reflection in the many glass-coated buildings in town, and whenever I did, the sight of my “fat” legs would quickly remind me why I never liked mirrors.

2 smoothie ideas + vegan challenge update

Hey lovelies happy Friday… we haven’t cooked on here this month, which is quite weird considering that we are on a vegan challenge. I am really sorry about that, having to blog without a camera is a bit of hard work, and my internet connection does not seem to be helping much. End of rant! About the challenge… we are doing quite well, apart from my psyche levels going down and me grabbing a cake sometime on day four-five there, we are still going strong. I haven’t done a successful workout just yet though. I have been doing my teas a lot more, and also trying to improve my water game as well.
